Cavalier Lockdown Plates
Cavalier Lockdown Plates are ideal for protecting equipment in higher risk areas. They can be used on any equipment, from computers, to printers, to copy machines, to telephones!
The Cavalier Security System consists of two steel plates. The base (bottom) plate contains the lock and is normally bolted to a table or desk using the mounting holes provided. The insert (top) plate contains a hole pattern allowing easy attachment of the equipment to be secured. A high security, tamper proof, pick-resistant gem lock is included with each lockdown plate.

| To determine which size plate will best fulfill your needs, measure the footprint of the CPU (width x depth) and choose the closest plate size. Choosing a plate that is a few inches smaller than the computer is less obtrusive as it is slightly "hidden" under the computer.

Neoprene adapters are supplied with each lockdown plate. After finding a flat surface on the bottom of the equipment, the adapter plate is attached to the equipment with commercial strength loctite epoxy. Make sure the adapter plate is then secured to the top plate using 1/4-20 screws.
The top plate of the equipment is easily removed by turning the lock 90 degrees and sliding the top plate towards the lock. The top plate can then be removed by lifting opposite the lock straight up and away from the lock. To assemble, the reverse is used.
