The PC Protector is a 'stand-alone' alarm system for the single computer. It uses a PCI card that fits into any available PCI slot in your PC, connecting it to your monitor and printer via a cable and special security tabs. The principle is simple: if anyone disconnects the cables or if they take apart your PC or if the power is off and someone attempts to lift your computer without entering its special electronic security key, a deafening 110 decibel alarm (about as loud as any battery powered fire alarm) will sound.
